Texas Two-minute Touch Down Against Oklahoma

It was so shocking how amazing the first quarter was for Texas. The game on Saturday was a record of a two-minute touchdown. The half-time ended with 38-20.  Xavier Worthy took a screen ball from Casey Thompson and sprinted 75 yards for a score on Texas' first offensive possession. On Oklahoma's next possession, the Longhorns forced a punt, blocked it. It was later recovered at the Sooner’s 2-yard line. Texas took a 14-0 lead when Bijan Robinson punched in a 2-yard touchdown run.

To cap off a strong first quarter for the Longhorns, Thompson connected with receiver Joshua Moore for two touchdown throws out of which one for 10 yards and the other for 48 yards.

In the second quarter, the Longhorns kept rolling. The Longhorns forced a fumble from Sooner’s quarterback Spencer Rattler just as Oklahoma was starting to chip away at Texas' advantage. Then Bijan Robinson scored on a 50-yard run, setting up a second Texas touchdown.

Reporters, alumni, and fans from both institutions responded to the most important rivalry game's crazy first half.
