Dallas Family Decorates Home for Olympic Celebration

According to NBCDFW , the Bishop family house is all set to make the most of the Tokyo Olympics 24/7. You will find them cheering at Team USA sitting on their couch. The family has also taken its enthusiasm and support for the game to the outside of their home, which you can see if you pass by their home. People who know the Bishop family know that the family loves to spread joy in its neighborhood. In the front yard, there is a sign that reads “Choose Kindness.” They always put a smile on others’ faces no matter the time of the year. They welcome people with snacks and water during special holidays and are doing the same during the Olympics to keep everyone excited. Bishop said, "Me and my wife, we try to focus on the positives you know because again, we’re 98% the same so why focus on the different.  There is a shortage of teachers as schools are switching back to full-time in-person teaching after such a long period of virtual teaching. Before the fall semester, schools need to hire and staff up. What You Need to Know Lots of resignations and retirements happen in the summers. With the Federal relief money, there are many new vacancies available. The purpose of the federal relief money is to help decrease class sizes. This will increase services for students who fell behind in academics during the pandemic. Therefore, there is barely a month left for schools to staff up and hundreds of staff and teacher openings are available in Metroplex. In North Texas for the fall semester, there is a sudden frenzy as schools are switching from virtual to full-time schools. Although streaming is taking over the way we get music, traditional radio is working for most people. There is something magical about hearing some energetic and amazing personalities on the radio. They share music and play songs we all tend to love. When Bradley Amos launched the Deep Dallas Radio in 2017 (August), his vision was to make music accessible and offer new musicians in Dallas a platform. What inspired Amos was a concert he attended and realized he could let numerous others access it through his channel. He launched it in Deep Ellum with Mike Bernal and Amy Cook. Today, it is one of the best channels for independent artists in Texas. In an interview, he said, "I noticed that a lot of other musicians were there, watching the show, and then I got to talking to some of them". This shows his enthusiasm about his channel. Roots Southern Table restaurant just opened in Farmers Branch, just north of Dallas, TX. Here is the first look at Chef Tiffany Derry’s new impressive project so you know what to expect. Credit: Dallasobserver.com Derry aims to pay homage to her Louisiana roots with her new restaurant – Roots Southern Table. She has been famous for her mouthwatering duck-fat fried chicken and now she has much more on her Roots' menu.  She plans to source the ingredients from nearby farms to keep the ingredients as local as possible. We are looking at farms like Cooper Farms and Profound Farms as a good source for Derry.  Credit: Dallasobserver.com Derry  reportedly  said that Roots Southern Table is more of a modern southern approach. She uses ingredients from the local area and gardens. She is from Louisiana and often had a great summer with vegetables of the season.
