Dallas Zoo Gorilla getting all the fame because the TikTok dancing video got viral twice.

He is getting so popular for his moves and breakdance as he was playing in the water. His first internet appearance was in 2017 when his keeper posted a video of him dancing in the water. It was used many times by people on the internet as it got 12 million views as it was posted on World Gorilla Day. One of the popular examples is Green Day used for the music video ‘Father of All’. Then it was used by the Punk-Rock band in one of their videos.

Josiah Sage, the zoo's staff photographer, shot the latest footage of Zola spinning around, in which he was doing his distinctive spin. When Zola was dancing, there was no music playing, so Sage added the 1980s song "I'm a Maniac" to the video and posted it on the zoo's TikTok website.

The video was sent to a famous dancing instructor Jia Andrews at the New York University for analysis after which Zola’s dance and moves were highly appreciated. Andrews said so with these words: “The video is a pure joy to watch. His moves are beautiful. These are the example of fun and playful moves that exists naturally in Zola’s body”.

Apart from TikTok, it was posted on other social media channels.

Zola was born in 2002 and brought to Dallas in 2013, when he was 11 years old, from the Calgary Zoo in Alberta, Canada. He currently shares a large bachelor pad with his half-brother Shana and two other men of comparable age.

The zoo is just not sure if Zola's breakdancing is his creation or if he learned to spin from seeing Flashdance. The zoo hopes that viewers of the footage here are not misled into thinking they're looking at his house.

A characteristic move of Zola, a gorilla at the Dallas Zoo, is breakdancing. "He appears to be the most playful of everyone," says a zoo worker. Zola only dances when he gets to play in the water, according to zoo staff Linda King. While watching the news, Zola's owner came across his video and said, "I know that man."
