BBQ King - Pakistani Restaurant in Dallas

If you are looking for a quick bite in Dallas, then BBQ King is one of the places to go. It first opened in Richardson, and in 2018, moved to Garland.

In 2019, a report mentioned BBQ King as one of DFW's top Pakistani food destinations. It has ever since been one of the most interesting restaurants to go to. Hearing so much about it, I finally decided to try it and write about it.

Mouthwatering Pakistani Cuisine

They make a wild burger and have probably the best naan you may find in this area. They serve it stuffed with potatoes, spiced up, mixed with sauces, and cilantro with sesame seeds. They also have the traditional Pakistani cuisine Haleem, which is a porridge-like meal. The ingredients are lentils, ground meat, wheat, butter (ghee), and fried onions, and ginger garnish. It is something I liked, and I recommend it.

Recommendation

My best pick here is the "Kunna Gosht," a recipe made with goat leg; somewhat of a stew. It is surely amazing and rich in flavor; a healthy food indeed. Another item I love and would recommend is the beef karahi. It tastes tantalizing with tomato sweetness, balanced with many Pakistani spices.

The kebabs are also amazing and worth trying. Some may say they are a bit salty, but well - it is a great food to explore if you are a foodie.

They also serve some American recipes – so do try them!

Customer Services

The downside here is that services may be somewhat slow - perhaps it is because of busy weekdays and specific times of the day. I will surely go there again and update you if the services are better.

One thing for sure is that you will get the worth of your payment. Everything is surely rich in taste and refreshing.

Dessert

Well - I am not so much of a fan of the paan, but yes, it was something curiously interesting. Paan is a delicacy apparently. It is made using a special leaf, with some chewing nuts and other additives that stimulate your taste buds and improve digestion. It is more of a post-meal appetizer of sorts.

I did love getting to feel and experience a bit of something new - the Pakistani cuisines. I will recommend you try it out yourself too.

Timing & Seating

The BBQ King is open Wednesday to Monday from 11 am to 11 pm. Seating arrangements are outdoors, more like sidewalk tables. Parking is free so no hassle. Overall, the prices are reasonable.

Here’s where to find them. Have fun!
